Undergraduate Programs

The Bachelor of Science is intended for students wishing to study Biology, enter medical school, attend a graduate program in the sciences, or get started in research. The undergraduate minor is intended for students with an interest in Biology, but only enough time to complete a few courses.

Coterminal Master's Program

The Coterm program is intended for current Stanford undergraduates with an interest in simultaneously obtaining a Master's degree in Biology.

PhD Program

The Ph.D. program is intended for students who have a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree and seek an advanced degree in the field of Biology.

Mission Statement: The Biology Student Services Office partners with University and Department faculty and staff to empower students along their educational journeys. Our core values include inclusivity, advocacy, accountability, and integrity. 

If you have questions after reviewing the information on this website, feel free to visit the Student Services Office in Gilbert 118 Monday-Thursday from roughly 9am to 4pm. While drop ins are always welcome, we highly encourage students to schedule appointments.
