Nevan Krogan, "Using Systems Approaches to Study Disease"

April 4, 2016 - 4:00pm to 5:00pm
Clark Center Auditorium S001

Free and open to the public.

Nevan J. Krogan is Professor of Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology at the UCSF School of Medicine. A Searle Scholar and a Keck Distinguished Young Scholar, Dr. Krogan has been named one of Cell Journal's Top 40 under 40. The Krogan lab focuses on generating large-scale quantitative genetic and physical interaction maps in several organisms. They then use these maps to formulate hypotheses about various biological processes, including transcriptional regulation, DNA repair/replication and RNA processing, that they ultimately test.
