Sophie Caron, "Sensory representation in the Drosophila brain"

February 25, 2019 - 4:00pm to 5:00pm
Clark Center Auditorium S001

Free and open to the public.

Sophie Caron, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor at the University of Utah, School of Biological Sciences.  Her lab wants to understand how the brain generates an internal representation of the outside world, how it stores such representations and uses them to generate meaningful behavior. Our model system is the fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster, in particular the mushroom body, a brain center for learning and memory.
