Tim Coulson, "The Zoolander effect, and why eco-evolution is simply ecologists discovering evolution"

May 9, 2016 - 4:00pm to 5:00pm
Clark Center Auditorium S001

Free and open to the public.

Tim Coulson is Professor of Zoology at the University of Oxford. He and his lab research how demographic rates vary across genotypes, phenotypes and environments. They identify the ecological, evolutionary and conservation consequences of this variation, and use a mix of field observations, laboratory experiments, statistical analysis of data and the construction and analysis of mathematical models.
